refinery29 posted the above image upon announcing that jimmy choo and ugg australia would be collaborating. all i could think of was, “oh god, oh dear god,” which means that i am horrified. i will admit that, yes, i do own uggs (3 pairs, only one of which looks like their signature boot), but this needs to stop.
uggs will never be chic. they just won’t. they look like house-slippers that ate too much at the chinese buffet. granted, the jimmy choo hunter “wellington” boot was a work of art, but for real, if the imagined compilation becomes reality, then i may need to step away from the fashion world for a little bit.
