Hello there Tumblr folks…

Small (and insignificant as ever) check in for anyone still out there.

Busy busy past few months. Trying to get thesis work done, and get my life organized. There has been a lot of stress with a dash of chaos thrown in for good measure recently, and it’s all starting to settle, albeit reluctantly.

I’ll be back at the Forensic Hospital this year, working on my internship placement for my Masters, and I couldn’t be more excited about that. It’s exactly the kind of experiences that 16 year old Sarah wanted to have, and I can’t shake a stick at that.

I am still with J, and we’ve had our ups and downs recently. No matter what though, he has my heart and we’re on solid footing. I can’t wait to see what our future holds.

I am moving! Again. Sigh. This will be my 8th…yes, 8th, move since first beginning University in 2005. Just ridiculous.

Back to Halifax this time though, which excites me to no end.  I really should have never left, and the chance to spend more time with my two best friends is thrilling. I have spent probably HUNDREDS of hours in the car driving back and forth to see J (right now I live 1.5 hours away) and lots of $$$ in gas. To cut down on that will be nice, even though I will still have to travel back to Wolfville for school a couple times a week at minimum.

The new apartment is too expensive (for me, but a deal for what it is), and worrisome in that regard, but beautiful. Having a washer and dryer and dishwasher will be absolutely amazing, and for that I can’t wait. A little sad that I’ll have to get rid of some of the furniture that I spent so much time hunting for last year because it’s significantly smaller than my old place, but it’s a much fancier spot and I think I’ll be happy there.

So, now is time to find a new job for a few nights a week to afford said apartment, try to sneak in a long weekend to Montreal with J for some romance, and most importantly, work on my thesis which I’m apparently horrible at.

SO MUCH to do in the coming weeks, gives me a bit of a sore chest thinking about it.
